I am quite attached to this collection, simply called Rain. I do not really know why, maybe because rain is always a little unusual to experience. It changes everything. The mood. The light. The pace of things.
These photographs were taken from behind the window of my car, while the rain was pouring outside. I was dry, sheltered, watching the scene unfold. And outside, others were running, waiting, hiding, trying to escape the rain. There was something strangely beautiful in that contrast, between stillness and movement, comfort and discomfort, distance and closeness.
